Once by Morris Gleitzman

Recently I read a book called Once. Published in 2005, it is the first in a long series of five books with a sixth on the way. It was an incredibly well written and touching story. It is about a 10-year-old Jewish boy search for his parents who left him at a Polish Catholic orphanage three years earlier. This book helped me really understand what horrors Jewish people faced in World War 2. It made me teary at times but I absolutely loved it. I definitely recommend this book and series to everybody 9+ …(Rated 5/5).
